We are seeking a skilled Translator and Interpreter to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will facilitate clear and effective communication between diverse stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution and compliance across multiple languages. Responsibilities: - Interpret verbal communication during meetings, site visits, and negotiations between project teams and clients and other parties, for English and Chinese. - Translate written documents including contracts, reports, and technical specifications accurately, for English and Chinese. - Facilitate clear communication among multilingual teams, ensuring precise understanding of project requirements and safety protocols. - Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers and workers and other parties to support effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information and technical terminology. - Support cultural understanding and foster positive relationships between international teams and local stakeholders.

- Fluency in English and Chinese and at least one other language commonly used in the construction industry (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu). - Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within the construction or engineering sector. - Strong understanding of construction terminology and technical language. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Degree or certification in translation, interpretation, linguistics, or related field is preferred.
