The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the execution of maintenance activities on the demonstrator site, ensuring that all systems and equipment operate in a safe, reliable, and available condition. Working within a lean organization, the role requires a high level of versatility, combining hands-on technical interventions with basic coordination and reporting tasks. The Maintenance Engineer supports the Maintenance Manager in the implementation of the maintenance plan and contributes directly to the overall performance of the system. He/she is expected to operate autonomously on a wide range of systems and to maintain a strong understanding of system behavior in order to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues. The role also includes the ability to act as a backup to the Maintenance Manager when required. • Maintenance Execution Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all systems on site, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety and operational requirements. Carry out routine inspections, diagnostics, and first-level troubleshooting, identifying failures and implementing appropriate corrective actions. • Technical Support Support the Maintenance Manager in the planning and organization of maintenance activities. Contribute to the analysis of technical issues and propose practical solutions to improve system reliability. Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance interventions, failures, and corrective actions in relevant tools and logs. • Coordination & Continuity Coordinate with the Operations Engineer to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with operational constraints and minimize disruption to service. Maintain readiness to take on additional responsibilities, including basic coordination tasks, in case of absence of the Maintenance Manager. • Performance & Improvement Contribute to monitoring system performance and identifying recurring issues. Support continuous improvement of maintenance practices and processes through feedback and practical experience.

• Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field. • Skills / Experience Approximately 5 years of experience in maintenance of technical or industrial systems. Experience in transport, automated systems, or similar environments is an advantage. Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic systems, with the ability to perform hands-on interventions across multiple systems. • Core Competencies Versatile and autonomous profile, capable of working in a lean environment with limited supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to technical challenges. Ability to combine technical execution with basic coordination responsibilities when required. Reliable and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability. • Tools Familiarity with standard office tools and basic maintenance reporting systems. Experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.
