The Operation & General Manager is responsible for the overall management of the O&M contract and the full operation of the demonstrator site. He/she ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of operations, including both daily programs and special programs (VIP visits, demonstrations), while also managing the local entity activities such as financial performance, contractual obligations, and subcontractor management. The role combines operational leadership and corporate management responsibilities in a lean organizational setup. The Operation & General Manager directly supervises the Maintenance Manager and the Operations Engineer and ensures coordination across all activities on site. He/she is accountable for the global performance of the demonstrator, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and client expectations. • General Management Ensure the overall governance of the O&M contract, including compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations. Manage the financial performance of the project through budget control, cost monitoring, and resource optimization. Oversee subcontractor contracts (security, cleaning, landscaping), ensuring service quality and alignment with operational needs. • Operations Management Plan and supervise all operational activities on site, ensuring the effective execution of daily programs and special programs such as VIP visits and demonstrations. Guarantee system availability and operational readiness, and act as the escalation point for major operational issues. • Team Management Directly manage the Maintenance Manager and the Operations Engineer, organizing roles and priorities within a lean team. Ensure effective coordination between operations and maintenance, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and adaptability across all activities. • Technical & Maintenance Oversight Ensure that maintenance activities are properly defined and executed by the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Engineer, maintaining system reliability and availability. Maintain a sufficient technical understanding of the system to support decision-making and supervise coordination with the Systems Contractor. • Performance & Reporting Ensure the production of accurate and timely operational, technical, and financial reporting. Monitor KPIs and overall performance, implementing corrective actions when required and driving continuous improvement across the organization. • Client Interface Act as the primary point of contact for the client on all O&M matters, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and alignment with expectations. Support the overall positioning of the demonstrator and contribute to its promotion.

• Skills / Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or project management in transport, infrastructure, or industrial systems, with demonstrated experience in managing operations and multidisciplinary teams. Experience in rail, automated transport systems, or similar environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of O&M contracts, service delivery, and subcontractor management is expected. • Core Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage both strategic and operational responsibilities. High level of organization and coordination, combined with a results-oriented mindset and strong accountability. Ability to operate effectively in a lean, multi-role environment and to interact with diverse stakeholders. • Tools Professional use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and maintenance/operations systems is considered an advantage. • Master’s degree in Engineering, Transport, or a related field.
