Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and resolving any issues.
Manage the general ledger for both companies and ensure timely and accurate postings of transactions.
Manage both company's budget, forecasting financial trends and analyzing variances to inform strategic decisions if applicable.
Coordinate the year-end audit and ICV process by liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard both companies’ assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare VAT returns, Corporate Tax and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
