Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and resolving any issues.

  • Manage the general ledger for both companies and ensure timely and accurate postings of transactions.

  • Manage both company's budget, forecasting financial trends and analyzing variances to inform strategic decisions if applicable.

  • Coordinate the year-end audit and ICV process by liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard both companies’ assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare VAT returns, Corporate Tax and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
