Roles & Responsibilities
Managing the planning team and ensuring preparation of planning and scheduling related tasks as per projects and company requirement. Ensuring the submission of projects baseline programs, updated programs, revised programs, recovery programs, extension of time claims, other planning related assignments on time as per the project requirement. Review of the assignments being done by subordinates and ensuring the assignments are free from any errors. Assignments during projects under tender stage (as and when required): Preparation of tender programs based on tender documents or according to the client/consultant requirements and checking the feasibility of the duration after coordinating with all stakeholders involved. Deciding the project planning strategy by coordinating with all stakeholders involved. Identifying the critical issues related to planning and discussing the same with operations manager/project manager as and when required. Preparation of tender projects cash in report, manpower forecast, organization charts as per the tender requirement. Attending client/consultant tender meetings along with the stakeholders involved in the project. Review of tender works being done by subordinates. Assignments during projects under execution stage (as and when required): Preparation of construction programs based on tender/contract information and checking the feasibility of the duration after coordinating with all stakeholders involved.
Preparation of extension of time claims, notice of delays by coordinating with the project managers/stakeholders. Preparation of recovery, revised programs as per the project requirement. Preparation of manpower histograms, cash flow, and organization charts as per the project requirement. Preparation of project performance monitoring report of major running projects for management review. Updating the WIP (work in progress) report progress percentage by coordinating with all the project managers/project in charge. Identifying and forecasting the risks involved in the project and discussing the same with the stakeholders to avoid delays in the projects. Involved in the monitoring and controlling of the projects progress and highlighting the critical issues and resolving the same with the stakeholders. Deriving a suitable progress measurement system by working out appropriate weightages of the phases like engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and handing over as per the project requirement. Regular site visits to monitor the projects progress. Participating in the projects progress meetings as per the requirements and highlighting the progress status of the project. Review of the program assignments being done by subordinates.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications: Degree in civil/architecture.
Experience: 10 years of experience in a similar role or front office department
