Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Provide first-level technical support to users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network issues

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems

  • Install, configure, and maintain systems and applications

User Support

  • Respond to IT support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone

  • Assist users with login issues, password resets, and system access

  • Ensure timely resolution of user queries

System Maintenance

  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus checks

  • Maintain IT assets and inventory records

  • Assist in system backups and data recovery processes

Documentation

  • Log and track issues in the helpdesk system

  • Maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps and solutions

Coordination

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience
