Job Details

The Legal Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the organization across its diversified business operations, including shopping malls, real estate, commercial projects, and related development, investments, and joint venture reviews. The role ensures that all business activities, contracts, and transactions are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance standards. The position plays a key role in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal agreements, mitigating legal risks, and safeguarding the organization’s interests in all commercial and operational dealings. The Legal Manager also supports regulatory compliance, corporate governance requirements, and liaises with external legal counsel and relevant authorities where necessary. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and guidance to management on corporate, commercial, and operational matters. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and service agreements. Ensure all contractual documents are legally compliant and aligned with the company’s business interests. Support various departments in resolving legal and contractual issues. Assist management in evaluating legal implications related to business transactions and commercial activities. Handle legal matters related to shopping mall development, real estate projects, leasing, and commercial properties. Review and manage tenancy agreements, lease contracts, property-related documents, and vendor agreements. Coordinate legal documentation related to construction contracts, project development, and commercial operations. Liaise with relevant authorities for licenses, approvals, registrations, and regulatory compliance matters. Ensure compliance with applicable real estate and commercial laws and regulations. Monitor and ensure compliance with local laws, corporate regulations, and governance standards. Assist in developing and implementing legal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. Review internal policies and recommend updates in line with regulatory requirements. Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, statutory records, and legal filings. Keep management informed about legal and regulatory changes impacting the organization. Coordinate and manage litigation, arbitration, labor disputes, and other legal proceedings involving the company. Liaise with external legal counsel and monitor progress of ongoing cases. Prepare legal notices, responses, supporting documentation, and case-related reports. Support dispute resolution processes to minimize legal and financial exposure. Maintain proper documentation and records related to all legal cases and disputes. Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, consultants, and external legal advisors on legal matters. Provide legal guidance and support to internal departments as required. Assist management in handling strategic legal and operational matters. Maintain effective professional relationships with stakeholders and external parties. Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical handling of sensitive legal information.

The ideal candidate must possess experience in handling multiple portfolios and knowledge about operating in GCC region and have a recognised legal qualification, You must also be happy to work a 6 day week
