Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production budgets, meticulously tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, securing favorable terms and building strong relationships to ensure reliable resource allocation.
• Identify and mitigate production risks, proactively addressing potential challenges to minimize disruptions and ensure project timelines are met.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating innovative solutions to enhance production processes and competitiveness.
• Analyze production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in milk powder production / spray drying operations.This is a senior role suited for candidates with hands-on dairy manufacturing expertise and leadership experience.

• Strong background in dairy plant operations and factory management

• Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety, and dairy quality systems

• Experience managing large production teams and improving plant efficiency

• Previous experience in large-scale dairy plants (EU / UK / ANZ experience preferred)

• Holds relevant certifications in project management or production management, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.

• Demonstrates 8+ years of progressive experience in production management, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Possesses strong technical skills in production software and equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.

• Exhibits strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and control costs effectively.

• Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Is fluent in English (written and spoken), enabling effective communication and collaboration in a global environment.
