Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex diesel engine issues using advanced diagnostic tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments to enhance engine longevity and performance.
- Overhaul and repair diesel engines, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of engine components to restore optimal function.
- Calibrate and adjust fuel injection systems to ensure efficient fuel usage and compliance with emission standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics is preferred.
- Certification from an accredited diesel technology program or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in the field.
- Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software, showcasing the ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical systems.
