Overview:
The Project Engineer manages technical and construction activities on roads projects, ensuring adherence to design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. They serve as a link between design, construction, and site supervision teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret road design drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
- Supervise construction activities such as earthworks, paving, drainage installation, and signage.
- Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and suppliers to ensure quality and progress.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks for road layers, compaction, and alignment.
- Address technical issues related to road geometry, drainage, and pavement quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in road construction projects.
