Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAS-based Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAS-based solutions.
• Develop and implement SAS code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, optimizing data workflows for AML and TMS operations.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of SAS code and applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• The Senior Engineer is responsible for managing compliance projects from the bank. Should be able to coordinate with multiple teams and provide summary/report to senior management. Experience in SAS AML (TMS ) and Regulatory Compliance (RC) application components is needed. Responsible for providing necessary technical support which includes design, build, security and infra.

  Additional accountabilities include,

  • Regular interactions with all internal teams like application teams, Infra teams, Security team, testing team & vendor co-ordination as well for remediation.

  • Bachelor/Master University degree in IT, Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent experience.

  • Should contain 10+ years of experience in the software systems development life cycle (SDLC) process and support.

  • Depth knowledge of software life cycle, change management process, risk mitigation, project reporting and stakeholder’s management

  • Experience in agile methodology (like SCRUM) is mandatory

  • Handling multiple projects in the same time, co-ordinating with internal, business stakeholders and vendor

  • Managing project budget, resource alignment and vendor management

  • Good understanding of managing implementation of Compliance systems (transaction monitoring system (SAS AML) and Regulatory reporting applications). Implementation experience in SAS AML solutions (SAS AML, Go AML, TBAML, FATCA CRS) would be preferred.

  • Good skills in debugging and troubleshooting issues

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other team members. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
