MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

 

This Compliance, Safety and sustainability department operates in full compliance with national and international aviation regulations while maintaining the highest safety and sustainability standards. ​The department oversees compliance monitoring across operations and airworthiness, manages safety programmes and risk assessments, leads business continuity and emergency response planning, promotes occupational safety and employee well-being and drives aviation sustainability initiatives. ​The team safeguards operational integrity enhances organizational resilience and supports flydubai’s strategic and regulatory objectives.

About The Role 

This  12-week rotational internship program is togain comprehensive exposure to the Safety department at flydubai. Work across critical safety functions including Airworthiness Safety, Environmental Affairs & Sustainability, Health and Safety, BusinessContinuity,Emergency Response, and Compliance. Develop practicalexpertisein aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency management under the guidance of experienced safety professionals.

•  Assist team members with ongoing tasks, projects, and departmental initiatives as assigned.
•  Conduct basic research, data gathering, and analysis to support departmental objectives.
•  Prepare, update, and maintain accurate documentation, reports, presentations, and trackers.
•  Participate in meetings, training sessions, and briefings, and capture key actions or learnings when required.
•  Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
•  Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to support smooth workflow.
•  Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, time management, and a strong willingness to learn
•  Maintain confidentiality and handle company information responsibly at all times.
•  Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship outlining the department overview, key  learnings, and any new ideas, improvement opportunities, or recommendations that could be considered for implementation

• High school diploma or equivalent a must.

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations
