Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately, ensuring correct dosages and patient safety, while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide patients with essential information about their medications, including usage, potential side effects, and interactions, promoting patient understanding and adherence.
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, including compounding medications when necessary, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to address patient needs and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Holds a valid pharmacy license or is eligible for registration as a trainee pharmacist, showing a commitment to professional standards.
  • Has a basic understanding of pharmaceutical calculations and dosage forms, ensuring accuracy in medication preparation.
