Main responsibilities

Lead the overall finance function and serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial and commercial matters.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
Prepare and present management reports, financial dashboards, and business insights to leadership.
Monitor profitability, cash flow, working capital, and key financial performance indicators.
Oversee compliance, internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks.
Lead finance transformation and departmental restructuring initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with business leaders to support growth strategies, operational improvements, and commercial decision-making.
Manage and mentor the accounting and administration team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of accounting, reporting, and administrative functions.
Ensure the finance department meets reporting deadlines and operates efficiently in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements

Candidates with experience in industrial manufacturing or chemical companies are preferred.
7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
This role will manage a small team; so prior experience is required.
SAP experience is a must.
Open to all nationalities currently based in Dubai, UAE.
