JOB TITLE: CIVIL ESTIMATION ENGINEER

REPORTING TO: ESTIMATION MANAGER

continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to join our

team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Civil Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and

tender submissions for civil and structural works, ensuring competitive pricing while

maintaining compliance with project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and finishing tender documents.

• Perform quantity take-o�s for concrete, reinforcement, excavation, backfilling, masonry,

finishing, and infrastructure works.

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates including labor, materials, plant, equipment, and

subcontractors.

• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Analyze project risks and market conditions.

• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.

• Participate in value engineering exercises.

• Maintain updated cost databases and historical project records.

• Raise RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications.

• Support project teams during project handover and execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction estimation.

• Strong understanding of civil and structural construction methods.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, PlanSwift, CostX, Bluebeam, or similar software.

• Ability to prepare detailed quantity take-o�s and cost analyses.

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

• Data Center project experience highly preferred.
