Roles & Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Supporting operations covering  24x7

• Commissioning, configuration and installation of equipment.

• Rectification of faults and deficiencies at passive level

• Quarterly deep cleaning of relevent equipment

• Ensure uptime and availability of critical infrastructure.

• Monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.

• Testing and validation of systems and connectivity

• Labelling of all devices, cables, and infrastructure

• Support maintaining the Inventory control, asset tagging, and tracking

Critical Facilities Management

• Manage UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems.

• Power Distribution Units (PDU/RPP)

• Maintain MDFs, IDFs, and FECs

• Participate preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed.

• Perform system health checks and capacity reviews.

• Support commissioning and testing activities for new installations.

• Inventory control and asset tagging , Labelling

Incident & Problem Management

• Support  incident response and escalation management.

• Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM). 

Change Management

• Support on infrastructure change management

• Perform routine heath checks

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with OEMs, facility vendors, and service providers.

Compliance & Governance

• Support compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and organizational policies.

• Support internal and external audit

• Support updating the operational documentation.

• Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work processes.

• Ensure physical security controls are followed.

Capacity & Availability Management

Monitor power and devices availability

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Education and Technical Qualification,

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering

Key Competencies

• 3-5 years of Hands-on experience with mission-critical electrical datacentre systems

• Hands-on troubleshooting of UPS, ATS, CRAC failures

• Knowledge on electrical and passive Systems ( Infrastructure equipment’s, software etc)

• Data Center Power Systems

• UPS & Generator Operations

• Cooling Systems (CRAC/CRAH)

• DCIM Tools

• BMS/EMS Monitoring

• Electrical Safety Awareness

• Process / compliances

• Experience in Tier II/III environments

• Basic network & rack-level awareness

• Alarm handling via DCIM/BMS

• Cable management best practices

• Driving License is Must
