Roles & Responsibilities

Safety and Security

  • Notify your manager/supervisor immediately of work-related incidents or any other injuries.

  • Discern and rectify hazardous job methods or circumstances and/or relay them to management and security/safety staff.

  • Abide by the safety and security directives and processes of the organization and department to guarantee a spotless, secure, and protected atmosphere.

  • Adhere to property-specific procedures when confronted with critical situations (for instance, evacuations, medical crises, natural calamities).

  • Preserve vigilance concerning unwanted individuals present on property premises.

  • Observe the policies and procedures for the secure use and storage of gear, machinery, and tools.

  • Utilize the correct gear, and apply proper lifting techniques when needed to prevent harm.

Successfully accomplish relevant safety education and gain certifications for executing work assignments

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Client Consultation:

    • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and specific treatment goals.

    • Tailor spa treatments to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client.


  1. Spa Service Delivery:

    • Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body wraps, and other therapeutic services.

    • Demonstrate expertise in various massage techniques and spa therapies.


  1. Skincare and Product Knowledge:

    • Provide skincare advice and recommend products based on the client's skin type and concerns.

    • Stay informed about spa products, including ingredients and benefits, to educate clients.


  1. Hygiene and Sanitation:

    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and work areas.

    • Follow proper sanitation protocols and ensure that equipment and tools are sanitized between clients.


  1. Client Education:

    • Educate clients on the benefits of spa treatments and provide post-treatment care instructions.

    • Offer advice on maintaining overall wellness and skincare at home.


  1. Appointment Management:

    • Efficiently manage appointment schedules, ensuring punctuality and proper time management.

    • Communicate with reception staff to coordinate bookings and handle client inquiries.

  2. Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs, concerns, and preferences.

    • Create a welcoming and relaxing environment to enhance the overall client experience.

    • Product Sales and Upselling:

      • Recommend and sell retail products related to spa treatments.

      • Upsell additional services or enhancements to maximize the client's spa experience.


    1. Professional Development:

      • Stay updated on industry trends, new treatments, and advancements in spa therapy.

      • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.


    1. Documentation and Record Keeping:

      • Maintain accurate and organized client records, including treatment notes and product recommendations.

      • Collaborate with colleagues and management to track client preferences and feedback.

Job Specifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.

Training/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Spa Therapist in hospitality experience is advantageous.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with spa services and retail products.

  • Proficient in using computer systems and booking software.

  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
