About the Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsman with a strong background in solar PV and wind power EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise and detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics to support engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed electrical drawings for solar PV and wind power EPC projects, including single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and panel schedules. • Work closely with electrical engineers to translate technical concepts into accurate CAD drawings. • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable codes. • Update and revise drawings based on design changes, field modifications, or client feedback. • Maintain organized drawing records and ensure document control procedures are followed. • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of designs. • Support the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline. • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an electrical draftsman, with at least 3 years in solar PV and/or wind power EPC projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other design software (e.g., Revit, PVsyst, ETAP) is an advantage. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and renewable energy project requirements. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage. Preferred Attributes • Middle East EPC project experience. • Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, NEC, etc.). • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a project-driven environment.
