Job Details

The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales function through the end-to-end management, execution, and control of customer quotations and order processing activities, ensuring accuracy, commercial alignment, and timely response to customer requirements. The role serves as the central point for daily sales and commercial reporting, consolidating inputs from the sales team and delivering structured, accurate, and timely updates to management. This position also supports tendering activities, customer engagement, and coordination across sales, technical, operations, and vendor teams to ensure operational efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Core Responsibility – Quotation Management & Order Coordination (Commercial Execution Ownership) • Take full ownership of the preparation, execution, issuance, and management of all customer quotations in an accurate and timely manner. • Ensure all quotations are commercially validated, technically aligned, and in accordance with sales strategy prior to issuance. • Coordinate with sales teams and vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and technical compliance before quotation submission. • Manage the full quotation lifecycle, including submission, revisions, follow-up, and conversion tracking until order confirmation. • Ensure timely conversion of quotations into confirmed customer orders. • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure efficient order processing and seamless execution. • Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, updates, and resolution of any order-related issues. • Maintain full visibility and accurate tracking of order status across all stages. Sales Coordination & Operations • Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate product and service information. • Support daily sales operations, documentation, and administrative activities. • Follow up on leads, opportunities, and customer requests to ensure timely closure. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotations, orders, and pipeline activity in CRM systems. Tendering & Commercial Support • Support the preparation of proposals, compliance documentation, and tender submissions. • Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and technical clarifications. • Ensure alignment between technical, commercial, and operational requirements. Reporting & Sales Control • Act as the central point of contact for daily sales and commercial reporting to management. • Consolidate daily updates from the sales team into structured and accurate reports. • Provide timely, clear, and reliable daily sales progress reports to the Director. • Ensure complete visibility of pipeline status, quotation activity, and order movement for management review and decision-making. Coordination & Customer Support • Ensure effective coordination and communication between sales, technical, operations, and vendor teams. • Support coordination of samples, product demonstrations, and technical requirements when required.

Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience • 3–7 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Coordination, Pre-Sales Support, or similar customer-facing roles. • Strong experience in quotation management and order coordination is highly preferred. • Experience within enterprise, industrial, telecom, IoT, networking, or technology environments is an advantage. • Experience in a value-added distributor or system integrator environment is preferred. Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools. • Ability to interpret technical and commercial requirements for quotation execution. • Exposure to networking, IoT, or industrial technology solutions is an advantage. Professional Skills • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. • High level of attention to detail and organizational capability. • Strong ownership, accountability, and execution mindset. • Ability to manage multiple quotations and priorities simultaneously. • Ability to work effectively across sales, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Additional Requirements • Strong interest in technology and continuous professional development. • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential. • Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
