Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/CO2 welding on steel structures and heavy equipment components.

• Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Cut, fit, grind, and prepare steel materials for welding and assembly.

• Manufacture and assemble garbage compactor bodies and related equipment.

• Inspect welded joints and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet project deadlines.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Experience in truck body building, garbage compactors, skip loaders, hook loaders, or similar heavy equipment is an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in welding or fabrication is highly preferred.

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder in heavy fabrication, truck bodies, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.

• Strong MIG/CO2 welding skills.

• Experience working with steel plates, structural steel, and metal fabrication tools.

• Knowledge of welding safety practices and quality standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
