Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed MEP/HVAC drawings and schematics from design concepts, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
  • Create precise 2D and 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using CAD software, accurately representing equipment, ductwork, and piping layouts.
  • Coordinate with engineers and project managers to integrate MEP/HVAC designs into overall architectural and structural plans, resolving clashes proactively.
  • Produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings, meticulously documenting all installation details and modifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Hold a professional certification in CAD drafting (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) relevant to MEP/HVAC.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an MEP/HVAC Draftsman in construction or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
