Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffees and hot beverages in accordance with established standards.
Create and prepare fresh juices, smoothies, iced beverages, mocktails, and specialty drinks.
Develop and maintain a selection of signature beverages inspired by Japanese flavours and traditions.
Research, design and test innovative recipes using premium ingredients and seasonal products.
Demonstrate knowledge of Japanese teas, including their origins, characteristics and preparation methods (such as matcha, sencha, hojicha and genmaicha).
Incorporate Japanese ingredients and techniques into sophisticated beverage creations.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion control for all beverages.
Maintain beverage recipes, preparation guidelines and costing records.
Monitor stock levels and communicate purchasing requirements for beverage ingredients.
Ensure cleanliness, organisation and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
