Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffees and hot beverages in accordance with established standards.

• Create and prepare fresh juices, smoothies, iced beverages, mocktails, and specialty drinks.

• Develop and maintain a selection of signature beverages inspired by Japanese flavours and traditions.

• Research, design and test innovative recipes using premium ingredients and seasonal products.

• Demonstrate knowledge of Japanese teas, including their origins, characteristics and preparation methods (such as matcha, sencha, hojicha and genmaicha).

• Incorporate Japanese ingredients and techniques into sophisticated beverage creations.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion control for all beverages.

• Maintain beverage recipes, preparation guidelines and costing records.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate purchasing requirements for beverage ingredients.

• Ensure cleanliness, organisation and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
