Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Expert Land Surveyor role based in Dubai. The Expert Land Surveyor will perform and supervise land and topographic surveys for civil and building projects, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection. Responsibilities include operating total stations and other surveying instruments, setting out and checking construction works, and preparing survey reports, drawings, and digital records. The role involves verifying site levels, boundaries, and coordinates, as well as collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to resolve discrepancies. The Expert Land Surveyor will also maintain survey equipment, ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations, and support quality control and as-built documentation.
Qualifications Strong expertise in Land Surveying and Surveying for civil, marine, and building projects. Proficiency in Topographic Surveys, including data collection, processing, and preparation of survey plans. Hands-on experience with Total Station and related survey instruments, including calibration and maintenance. Experience in Building Surveying, setting out, and checking structural and architectural elements. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. Proficiency in surveying and CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and basic MS Office skills. Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work on-site under varying environmental conditions and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with local surveying standards, regulations, and construction practices in the UAE is an advantage. Relevant professional certifications or licenses in land surveying are preferred.
