Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare precise estimates for construction projects, ensuring all variables are accounted for.

  • Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to understand project specifications and deliver accurate quantity take-offs.

  • Monitor ongoing project costs and provide regular financial reports, allowing for timely adjustments and decision-making.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing while maintaining quality standards.

  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.

  • Prepare, evaluate, and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations, contracts, and payment applications.

  • Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction projects.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying/cost management software.
