Role Overview
A Site Engineer for Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) oversees the planning and installation of GRC
elements — such as architectural facades, cladding panels, decorative features, and structural
components — ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
o Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
o Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
o Develop detailed project schedules (e.g., using Primavera P6 or MS Project).
Design & Technical Oversight
o Review GRC shop drawings and ensure compliance with architectural and structural
requirements.
o Liaise with consultants, architects, and engineers for approvals.
o Ensure technical compliance with GRC standards (such as GRCA or PCI guidelines).
Quality Control & Safety
o Enforce quality assurance protocols in GRC manufacturing (mix design, curing, fiber
dispersion, etc.).
o Conduct inspections at factory and site.
o Ensure safety compliance during production and installation.
Budget & Cost Control
o Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
o Track costs, manage change orders, and prevent overruns.
Stakeholder Communication
o Report project progress to clients and senior management.
o Manage expectations and resolve site or design issues promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Requirements
Experience (5+ years) in GRC, precast concrete, or façade projects.
Strong knowledge of GRC production processes and installation techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Driving License (preferred)
