Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement EPC strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
Lead the Engineering, Projects, Contracts, Procurement, and Site Execution teams.
Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, project controls, and performance management systems.
Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and project profitability.
2. Engineering Management
Oversee concept, basic, and detailed engineering activities.
Ensure designs comply with client requirements, statutory regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical specifications, BOQs, and design changes.
Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
3. Project Execution & Delivery
Lead the complete project lifecycle from initiation to commissioning and handover.
Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and milestone trackers.
Monitor project progress, risks, productivity, and budget performance.
Resolve critical project issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
4. Contracts & Commercial Management
Lead contract review, negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project scope, and commercial terms.
Manage claims, variations, extensions of time, and subcontractor agreements.
Minimize commercial risks and maximize project margins.
5. Procurement & Vendor Management
Oversee procurement planning and sourcing strategies.
Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining cost competitiveness.
Monitor vendor performance and contractual compliance.
6. Financial & Cost Control
Own project P&L and financial performance.
Review project budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost reports.
Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve project margins.
Ensure effective project billing, collections, and financial controls.
7. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations, including HSE requirements, municipal authority guidelines, and project-specific statutory requirements.
Lead the implementation of HSE and Quality Management Systems in line with UAE regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Monitor project audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
8. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary interface for consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Present project updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Build strong client relationships to support business growth and repeat opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, engineering, procurement strategies & construction execution.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
UAE experience strongly preferred, with sound understanding of local regulations, authority approvals, and contracting practices.
