About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled senior manager – commercial deal management to join a leading global organization within the payments and financial services industry. This commercially focused role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing deal strategies across the CEMEA region (Central Europe, Middle East & Africa).
You will be responsible for driving commercial excellence, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring all deals are strategically structured, financially sound, and aligned with regional business objectives. Working closely with sales, finance, legal, and product teams, you will act as a key advisor on commercial deal structuring, pricing, and negotiations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end commercial deal management for complex, high-value opportunities across the CEMEA region
- Partner with sales to develop competitive commercial pricing strategies and contract structures
- Perform financial modeling, business case development, and scenario analysis
- Evaluate and approve commercial proposals, incentives, and pricing frameworks
- Ensure all deals comply with internal commercial policies, risk, and governance standards
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations based on market dynamics and client requirements
- Drive best practices in commercial deal governance and approval processes
- Support senior leadership through commercial reporting, deal reviews, and pipeline analysis
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the commercial deal function
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12+ years of experience in commercial deal management, pricing, finance, or strategy roles
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and commercial contract structuring
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-country commercial deals
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and senior leadership teams
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience within financial services, payments, fintech, or consulting industries preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
