Whizz HR is hiring CFO / Head of Finance for a Brand in Dubai
Our immediate focus will be on identifying and shortlisting high-calibre CFO / Head of Finance candidates. Given the strategic importance of this role, we believe the successful candidate should not only possess the technical expertise required for a complex international group but should also play a key role in shaping the future finance organization and participating in subsequent finance team recruitment. Qualification:CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent professional qualification. Additional certifications in treasury, corporate finance, or M&A would be advantageous. Experience:12–20+ years of progressive finance experience. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, or equivalent). Experience managing international and multi-entity operations. Key Responsibilities:Lead the overall finance function for the UAE and international group operations. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives. Manage group consolidation, statutory reporting, and financial governance. Oversee treasury, cash flow management, banking relationships, and financing structures. Ensure compliance with IFRS, Dutch GAAP, tax regulations, and transfer pricing requirements. Support mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration activities. Drive ERP optimization, financial process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. Build and mentor the finance team while establishing scalable finance processes. Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and shareholders. Preferred Industry Experience:Container trading, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, leasing, commodity trading, or other asset-intensive businesses. Strong exposure to working capital management, inventory financing, and international trade transactions.
