We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring project costs, controlling budgets, and ensuring financial efficiency across high-rise building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities· Monitor, analyze, and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.· Prepare and maintain project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.· Track actual costs against approved budgets and identify cost variances.· Review subcontractor payments, purchase orders, invoices, and material costs.· Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.· Support change order evaluations and assess financial impacts of project variations.· Prepare monthly cost performance reports and management dashboards.· Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project timelines.· Ensure compliance with company financial policies and project contractual requirements.
Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in high-rise building construction projects.· Strong understanding of construction costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.· Experience with BOQs, progress billing, subcontractor management, and project cost tracking.· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction ERP systems.· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.· Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple project priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use high-rise developments.
