Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Manage project budgets, cost planning, forecasting, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare comparative statements, and recommend awards.
Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders in coordination with the procurement team.
Measure work progress, prepare interim payment applications, and certify subcontractor invoices.
Prepare and manage variation orders, claims, extension of time (EOT) submissions, and final accounts.
Monitor project costs against approved budgets and recommend cost-saving/value engineering solutions.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Planning, and Finance teams on commercial matters.
Attend client, consultant, and subcontractor meetings to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company commercial procedures.
Maintain accurate commercial records, cost reports, and project documentation.
Support management with project profitability analysis and monthly commercial reporting.
Mentor and guide junior Quantity Surveyors where required.
