Job Description: Estimator

1. Experience in AMC Contracts
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in estimating and tendering for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) within the Facilities Management sector in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of both hard (HVAC, Mech, Elec, Civil, FF/ FA etc.)
• Has a strong clients base in Dubai to get more inquires.

1. Technical & Commercial Evaluation Skills
• Ability to review tender documents, drawings, and site conditions to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Evaluate facility requirements and develop cost estimates considering manpower, materials, spare parts, consumables, subcontractor services, and equipment usage.
• Experience in preparing technical submissions as per client standards.

1. Costing & Pricing Expertise
• Capable of developing cost breakdowns and pricing structures aligned with the local market rates in Dubai.
• Skilled in determining optimum manpower allocation based on scope, building type, and service levels.
• Ability to source vendor and supplier quotations for spare parts and consumables.

1. Financial & Analytical Competence
• Experience in budget estimation, margin calculation, and profitability analysis for new and renewal AMCs.
• Proficient in using Excel-based cost models and estimation tools.

1. Tender Documentation & Coordination
• Prepare complete bid submissions including technical write-ups, compliance statements, manpower deployment charts, and cost sheets.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical price references.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Knowledge of Local Regulations & Standards
• Understanding of Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, and Municipality submission requirements for AMC projects (if required).
2. Communication & Reporting Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and client interaction.
• Ability to prepare executive summaries.
