Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop custom automotive accessories using CAD software.
Prepare 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Design products such as roof racks, canopies, drawer systems, roof-top tent mounts, storage boxes, ladders, rear carriers, side steps, skid plates, and custom mounting brackets.
Conduct feasibility studies to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to bring designs from concept to production.
Develop prototypes, perform testing, and improve designs based on real-world performance.
Ensure products meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automotive or fabrication.
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of sheet metal, welding, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation is an advantage.
