Roles & Responsibilities
Install, assemble, maintain, and replace tandem mill stands, guides, and related rolling mill equipment.
Perform guide setting, alignment, and changeovers to ensure smooth rolling operations.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on mill stands and guide systems.
Inspect rolling equipment for wear and recommend repairs or replacements.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Tandem Mill Stand & Guide Fitter in a steel rolling mill.
Strong knowledge of mill stand assembly, guide setting, alignment, and rolling mill maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and support continuous production.
Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice are preferred.
