Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and maintain roll sharpening / grinding (MC) machines used in the rolling mill.
Perform roll grinding, sharpening, dressing, and polishing as per production requirements.
Inspect rolls for wear, defects, and dimensional accuracy before and after grinding.
Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance for consistent quality.
Coordinate with the rolling mill team to ensure timely availability of prepared rolls.
Follow all safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sharpening / MC Operator in a steel rolling mill.
Hands-on experience with roll grinding, sharpening, and machine operation.
Good understanding of roll maintenance, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards.
Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice are preferred.
High school ,ITI & Diploma can be considered for this.
