Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of catering and camp food service operations.
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).

Ability to work under pressure in remote camp environments.

Cost control, budgeting, and inventory management skills.

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Catering, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in catering operations, preferably in camp or remote site environments.
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Knowledge of multicultural workforce management.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting systems).
Experience in food safety and hygiene management in remote camp environments.

Overall Camp Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of catering, housekeeping, laundry, and general camp services.
Ensure smooth coordination between all service departments.
Maintain high standards of service delivery across all functions.

Catering Operations
Supervise meal planning, preparation, and service for all meals.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet required standards.
Monitor adherence to approved menus and client requirements.

Housekeeping & Accommodation Management
Oversee cleaning and maintenance of accommodation, kitchens, dining areas, offices, and common facilities.
Ensure rooms, toilets, and public areas are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
Manage linen supply, bed making, and periodic deep cleaning schedules.

Laundry Operations
Supervise laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution.
Ensure proper handling of staff uniforms, bed linen, and personal clothing (if applicable).
Maintain hygiene standards within laundry facilities.

Ensure full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP) and hygiene regulations.
Maintain strict sanitation standards across kitchen, dining, and accommodation areas.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across all services.

Inventory & Store Management
Control food and non-food inventory, including cleaning materials and consumables.
Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and accurate stock records.
Minimize wastage and prevent losses.

Cost Control & Budget Management
Monitor operational costs including food, manpower, and consumables.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet budget targets.
Prepare cost reports and support financial planning.

Client Coordination & Customer Service
Act as the main contact for all camp service-related matters.
Address client feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and service quality.

Staff Management & Supervision
Supervise catering, housekeeping, and laundry staff.
Conduct training, performance monitoring, and discipline where required.
Prepare duty rosters, manage leave, and ensure adequate staffing levels.

Conduct regular inspections of catering and accommodation facilities.
Ensure compliance with company standards and contractual KPIs.
Implement corrective actions for any deficiencies.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and client requirements.

Coordinate maintenance and report any issues promptly.
