Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project requirements and business objectives.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, tendering, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract administration.

  • Coordinate with Estimation, Projects, Design, Planning, QS, and Finance departments to ensure procurement schedules align with project timelines.

  • Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and subcontractors.

  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic vendor assessments.

  • Ensure materials and services are procured in compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.

  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve procurement-related issues that may impact project progress.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and relevant UAE regulations.

  • Support project teams during pre-award and post-award stages by providing procurement expertise.

  • Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, and management dashboards.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience in the UAE interior fit-out, joinery, construction, or MEP industry.

  • Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing practices.
