Roles & Responsibilities
Flexigistic is hiring a Rigger Helpers who can support lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment or cargo by assisting riggers with tools like cranes, hoists, and chains. They prepare rigging gear, clean equipment, load/unload materials, and ensure safety compliance under the direction of a senior rigger.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Assisting in setting up rigging gear such as chain falls, hoists, and block and tackle.
Assisting with packing, loading, and unloading heavy equipment or materials.
Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining slings, chains, ropes, and hooks for safety, often as mentioned in and.
Following all safety protocols, maintaining a tidy work area, and reporting hazards.
Assisting the rigger by handling lines, securing loads, and operating in accordance with hand signals.
Requirements:
Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy loads, climb, and work in challenging environments.
Experience: Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or logistics, often requiring at least 1 year in similar roles.
Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Desired Candidate Profile
Common Qualifications:
10th Standard, SSC/SSLC or High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and write English.
