- Efficiently process customer transactions, accurately handling cash, credit, and other payment methods to ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering product inquiries and providing recommendations to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and checkout area, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed and readily accessible.
- Manage inventory levels by accurately receiving, stocking, and tracking merchandise, promptly reporting any discrepancies or stock shortages.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing sales role, demonstrating a track record of reliable service.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and familiarity with basic computer applications.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
