Job Description

Develop and implement global tax strategies in alignment with the organisation's objectives. Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and reporting standards. Lead tax planning initiatives to optimise the company's tax position. Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to address tax-related queries. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business. Oversee tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities. Provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Tax VP should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent. Proven expertise in global tax strategy and compliance. Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and reporting standards. Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
