Role: Traffic and Transport Manager Dates: 5th October to 9th December 2026Rate: AED21,000 per month
Traffic and Transport Manager required for large annual Dubai festival.
Key Responsibilities:Lead on all matters relating to traffic and transport management for the event. Lead on liaison with Dubai Police Traffic department, via event organiser’s senior management. Deliver the 2026 traffic and transport master plan, including both internal and external directional signage, which will be developed by the event organiser and traffic management contractor in the summer 2026. Manage the delivery of car park facilities across public, tournament and VIP areas of the site. Manage the installation of all FF&E in partnership with suppliers and the production team. Management of the public bus service, ensuring optimisation and data gathering by the resource supplier. Liaison and coordination of other transport services, such as Careem, Zofeur and the festival bus service. Control of VAPs; liaising with the relevant stakeholders for requirements, the Branding Manager for VAP production and the distribution of VAPs to relevant parties and individuals. POC for vehicles requiring site access during the event, putting a process and mechanism in place to manage this, ensuring that Security and the JOC are fully briefed on all planned activity. Includes liaising with the catering providers on planned deliveries, Entertainment Manager for artist access and any special tasks that come from Protocol. Planning the de-rig Day 1 vehicle plan in partnership with key stakeholders and the operations/site teams. Operational management from the JOC of all traffic and transport services across the event site. Operational management of Traffic Management contractor for traffic and transport services on the live event days. Management of all reporting relating to traffic and transport services during the live event. Managing the Day1 de-rig access plan. De-rig of car parks, removal of all FF&E by suppliers. Post event reporting, including all data gathered such as car park capacities, bus route utilization, Incidents etc. Skillset/Experience Minimum 5 years in traffic and transport project management. Strong experience in delivering multi-modal traffic and transport operations. Experience in supplier management and performance management of multiple suppliers across an event. Good team and interpersonal skills; able to develop good relationships with both commercial and government bodies. Strong work ethic, willing to put in the hours when needed and be proactive. Strong IT skills; office suite and project management software experience essential. Analytical approach with the ability to process data and identify solutions quickly. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Arabic speaking highly desirable.
