Job Description

Aurea Raevon Builders is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support our construction, fit-out, renovation, and project delivery works. The role requires a technically capable individual who can assist in site supervision, quantity checking, documentation, coordination, and quality control for residential, commercial, hospitality, and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily site supervision and coordination of civil, structural, fit-out, and finishing works.

• Support the project team in monitoring site progress against approved drawings, BOQ, and project schedule.

• Conduct site measurements, quantity checks, and material take-offs as required.

• Assist in preparing site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and work documentation.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.

• Ensure site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Assist in checking workmanship for masonry, plastering, tiling, waterproofing, ceiling, flooring, painting, and other finishing works.

• Support material delivery tracking, site logistics, and manpower coordination.

• Report site issues, discrepancies, delays, and required corrective actions to the project engineer or management.

• Assist in basic QA/QC inspections and ensure proper site safety practices are followed.

• Help prepare as-built information, snag lists, and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction, fit-out, renovation, or finishing works is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.

• Basic knowledge of construction methodology, materials, and site execution.

• Able to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Able to work under pressure and meet site deadlines.

• Willing to attend site visits and coordinate with multiple trades.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in UAE/Dubai construction, fit-out, or renovation projects.

• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, and basic cost control.

• Understanding of civil works, finishing works, waterproofing, tiling, gypsum, painting, and general site coordination.

• Basic knowledge of authority, consultant, and building management requirements is an advantage.

• Organized, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.
