Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute routine maintenance and testing of protective relays, circuit breakers, and control systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults within protection and control schemes, minimizing downtime.
- Perform detailed analysis of relay test results, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, and configuration of new protection and control equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of power system protection and control equipment.
- Proficiency in testing and calibrating various types of protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor-based).
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and their integration with protection and control devices.
