Executive - Supply Chain - Home Operations

Description for Internal Candidates

Furniture Warehouse Operations In-charge: Employee will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's WH operations at HomeBox UAE warehouses, located in DWC. Employee will play crucial role in daily operations, improving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and executing WH related projects.

  • Oversee daily Warehouse (WH) operations, ensuring efficient activities (Inbound, putaway, picking, outbound, workshop, return and replacement) under the roof (productivity improvement)

  • Manage SLAs and coordinate with retail/delivery teams to sustain the performance and prompt responses where not meeting targets

  • Ensure best internal customer/store experience via store feedback

  • Implement and maintain manpower planning across all the activities

  • Monitor technology adaption at the warehouse

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy across Warehouse with the Territory Logistic goal.

  • Identify process bottlenecks, implement solutions for process improvements

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders like IT, Operations, Finance, and vendors to determine and implement Supply Chain KPIs/Projects

  • Conduct frequent audits to ensure process, guidelines and health, safety and environment standards compliance.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in ground operations (warehouse), preferably in the furniture industry.

  • Full-Time Graduate – Engineering

  • Full-Time Post - Graduate – MBA from a reputed B School (Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations) – Preferred, Not Mandatory

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and data analysis

  • Ability to Negotiate well

  • Ability to think logically

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to thrive under pressure

  • Must: MS Office, Advanced Excel

  • Preferred: Power Query, Power BI, Python, & SAS
