Role Description The Digital Forensics Analyst is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence from various systems and devices to support internal investigations and client projects. The analyst will perform forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, and networks, identify and analyze malware, and document findings in clear, comprehensive reports. Day-to-day tasks include conducting cybersecurity incident investigations, maintaining detailed chain-of-custody records, collaborating with consulting teams to interpret technical findings, and recommending security improvements based on forensic results. The role also includes staying current with emerging threats, tools, and best practices in digital forensics and cybersecurity. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Forensic Analysis and Evidence collection skills, including experience with digital evidence handling and chain-of-custody procedures. Candidates should possess Malware Analysis and Cybersecurity skills, including familiarity with incident response, threat detection, and common attack vectors. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex technical data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, CHFI, CEH, or similar) and experience with common forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, Cellebrite) are beneficial. A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field is preferred, along with experience working in investigative, consulting, or security operations environments. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, maintain confidentiality, follow ethical guidelines, and manage part-time hybrid work in Dubai effectively.
