The Role We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Manager to lead workplace health programs, employee wellness initiatives, and occupational health compliance activities. The ideal candidate will oversee health risk assessments, workplace health services, medical surveillance programs, and preventive health strategies while ensuring a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.???? Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement occupational health strategies, policies, programs, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives, workplace safety requirements, and regulatory standards• Lead occupational health programs including employee health surveillance, workplace assessments, health screenings, wellness initiatives, ergonomics programs, and preventive healthcare activities• Collaborate with health and safety, human resources, operations, compliance, facilities, risk management, medical providers, and executive leadership to integrate occupational health practices across the organization• Conduct occupational health risk assessments, workplace exposure evaluations, health impact assessments, and preventive action planning to identify and mitigate employee health risks• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including workplace illness rates, health assessment completion, occupational health incidents, absenteeism trends, wellness participation, regulatory compliance, and health program effectiveness• Manage medical surveillance programs for employees exposed to occupational hazards including chemical, biological, ergonomic, physical, and environmental risks• Develop and deliver employee health education programs covering wellness, occupational hazards, workplace hygiene, injury prevention, mental wellbeing, and healthy workplace practices• Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, labor laws, workplace health standards, industry guidelines, and organizational health and safety policies• Support workplace incident investigations, return-to-work programs, disability management, fitness-for-work assessments, and occupational health case management• Manage relationships with occupational health providers, clinics, medical professionals, insurers, and external healthcare partners to ensure effective health service delivery• Utilize Occupational Health Management Systems, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms, Health Information Systems, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics tools to monitor health programs and generate insights• Prepare occupational health reports, health trend analyses, compliance dashboards, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership• Lead, mentor, and develop occupational health specialists, nurses, health coordinators, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of wellbeing, prevention, safety, and continuous improvement✅ Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, Health Sciences, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred• Advanced qualifications such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Occupational Health Physician certification, Occupational Health Nursing certification, Master of Public Health (MPH), NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are advantageous• 5+ years of experience in occupational health, workplace health management, employee wellness, occupational medicine, or related health and safety roles• 2+ years of experience managing occupational health programs, healthcare teams, or workplace health initiatives preferred• Strong understanding of occupational health principles, workplace hazard management, health surveillance, ergonomics, employee wellness, medical confidentiality, and regulatory compliance• Experience with Occupational Health Management Systems, EMR platforms, HRIS systems, Health Information Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and healthcare analytics tools• Familiarity with ISO 45001, workplace health legislation, industrial hygiene, environmental health, mental health programs, emergency response, and health promotion strategies is advantageous• Strong leadership, clinical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, confidentiality, health education, and cross-functional collaboration abilities• Ability to develop proactive occupational health programs that improve employee wellbeing, reduce workplace risks, and support organizational performance• Ability to work independently in on-site and hybrid operational environments????
