Group Head – AI & Data Transformation
Job Purpose
The Group Head – AI & Data Transformation is responsible for leading the organization's enterprise-wide AI, digital, and data transformation strategy. The role focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and data governance to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, decision-making, and business growth across all group companies.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Innovation
- Develop and execute the Group AI and Data Transformation roadmap.- Identify opportunities to implement AI across all business divisions.- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.- Build an innovation culture that embraces digital transformation.
Data Strategy & Governance
- Develop enterprise-wide data governance policies and standards.- Establish data quality, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.- Create a centralized data architecture supporting all business units.- Define KPIs and executive dashboards for business performance.
Business Transformation
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across retail, distribution, FMCG, hospitality, real estate, and corporate functions.- Redesign business processes using AI and automation.- Identify cost optimization opportunities through intelligent automation.- Drive enterprise-wide digital adoption.
AI Applications
- Implement predictive analytics and forecasting models.- Introduce AI-powered customer service solutions.- Deploy demand forecasting and inventory optimization tools.- Implement pricing optimization and recommendation engines.- Utilize AI for HR analytics, recruitment, workforce planning, and employee engagement.- Drive finance automation including reporting and fraud detection.
Technology Leadership
- Collaborate with IT teams on cloud, data platforms, and AI infrastructure.- Evaluate AI vendors and technology partners.- Ensure cybersecurity and responsible AI practices.- Lead implementation of enterprise AI platforms.
Change Management
- Promote AI awareness and digital literacy across the organization.- Conduct executive workshops and user training.- Drive adoption through structured change management programs.
Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing AI, analytics, and data team.- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and transformation projects.- Report progress regularly to executive leadership and the Board.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.- AI, Data Analytics, or Cloud certifications are preferred.
Experience
- 12–18 years of experience in digital transformation, AI, analytics, or enterprise technology.- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.- Experience managing enterprise-wide transformation programs.- Exposure to retail, distribution, FMCG, hospitality, or real estate sectors is highly desirable.
