Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on G+4 building projects. This position includes supervising site work, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work is completed according to design drawings, specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. The Site Engineer will monitor progress, prepare daily reports, assist with material take-offs, and support project planning and scheduling. The role also involves conducting quality checks, resolving technical issues on site, and collaborating with project managers, consultants, and the client’s representatives to keep projects on track and within scope. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong technical skills in civil/structural engineering, including understanding of building codes, G+4 construction methods, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.2-4 years of UAE Construction Experience Candidates should possess site management skills such as supervision of workforce, coordination with subcontractors, monitoring daily activities, and enforcing safety and quality standards. Candidates should possess planning and documentation skills, including progress reporting, material tracking, basic quantity estimation, and maintenance of site records. Candidates should possess problem-solving and communication skills for addressing site issues, liaising with project stakeholders, and providing clear instructions to site teams. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant site engineering experience in building projects (G+4 or similar) in the UAE is an advantage. Knowledge of local building regulations and safety practices, and familiarity with standard construction tools, equipment, and software (e.g., Auto CAD, MS Office) is beneficial. Ability to work full time on-site, adapt to changing project needs, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and collaborative working style.
