Roles & Responsibilities
Verify, process, and record supplier invoices accurately in the ERP system.
Perform three-way matching (Purchase Order, Goods Receipt Note, and Invoice) before invoice processing.
Ensure correct allocation of GL accounts, cost centres, and VAT codes.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare supplier payment proposals and coordinate with Treasury for payment processing.
Process petty cash reimbursements and project advance claims.
Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled transactions.
Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation.
Support month-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related queries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, VAT regulations, and financial controls.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the Accounts Payable function.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable within a medium to large organization.
Sound knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and invoice lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Good working knowledge of Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
Excellent numerical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with vendors.
