Job Title: Draftsman – Wooden Doors Shop Drawings

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman with expertise in preparing shop drawings for wooden doors and related joinery works. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of door detailing, fabrication requirements, and coordination with production and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for Fire rated wooden doors, frames, architraves, and door hardware.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and door schedules.

• Produce fabrication and installation drawings for manufacturing.

• Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, and site staff.

• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.

• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.

• Prepare material take-offs and door schedules as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in wooden door and joinery shop drawings.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of Fire rated wooden door construction, joinery details, and hardware coordination.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

• Experience in UAE joinery industry is preferred.
