Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of all lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Perform visual and non-destructive testing to identify any defects or potential hazards Review and approve all lifting plans and procedures, ensuring they are in line with company policies and industry best practices Monitor and document all lifting activities, providing guidance and support to the lifting team as needed Conduct pre and post-lift inspections, including load testing, to ensure the safe operation of all lifting equipment Maintain accurate records of all inspections and provide detailed reports to management Identify and report any safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, and ensure the company's lifting operations are in compliance at all times Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the company


Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Inspector in the oil and gas industry Valid LEEA or equivalent certification Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging, and safe lifting practices Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including LOLER and API RP 2D Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards Willingness to work in an offshore environment for extended periods of time Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule, including weekends and holidays if required
